I love my weekends!

So, where do I start? The only really interesting moment here so what happens happens only on the weekends. During the week I have unfortunately no time, thanks to far too much work.

The great American weekend last week was spent very well. On Saturday, 4 July was first Independence Day (Independence Day) on the program. One of the biggest holidays in America and many families are preparing weeks in advance before it, and plan their parties. Our planning for the day was only on Saturday morning. After much back and forth think we (Alicia, Wiebke, Charlotte and I) decided to provide to Jersey City go to the Liberty State Park, as it was to give concerts there in the afternoon and evening there is a great view of the huge and should be sponsored by Macy's fireworks in the park and also one should be shot. With a little food, we went down to Jersey City in the Park, located next to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Iceland. A great park with grill viiiielen families on all green spaces, tables, chairs and huge coolers brought. We have then made us comfortable on our towels, eaten, shot lots of pictures and provide us with hours that had to be maintained until the fireworks, spent a lot of nonsense. Here, among other things developed here:

We had a great time and left us at eight clock a little further going towards Manhattan, as we hoped, and from there a better view on the to be able to catch fireworks. At nine clock you could see the first of the Struwelhaare Hudsonriver ascend. Ca. 15 minutes later, then began the big Macy's fireworks, and I must say that the Jersey fireworks were nice but a lot. Also may have been because we were closer and the concerted listening to music (including 99 Red Balloons by Nena) could. The half hour was definitely super beautiful. As
Let us then about ten clock again made their way back to the car, we met again a typical American phenomenon. If an event is over, everyone disappears immediately. Be it New Year's Eve in Times Square, a concert or the fireworks on 4th of July. Americans stay then no more, what could possibly be explained by the non-alcoholic, since even the drinking is prohibited in public. Well. After a Mitternachtsmahl at Mäcces I was then also against a clock dead tired in bed.

The next morning we went out again early because Charolottes Hostdad has offered us to take with to Manhattan to a Yankees game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He had for themselves and their children tickets and we wanted to try to get more places left. At the ticket box but we were disappointed. The cheapest tickets were offered for $ 80 we were so much but we will not be willing to pay for it. We have made grad on the way back, when we spoke to a black guy and asked "Do you need tickets?" When I asked how many he had then, he answered, how many I need then. He stole all the time around us and it turned out then that we could get four tickets each for $ 50. Later we realized that the viiiiiel was overpriced but nagut. The original value of the ticket is not reported. We gathered together our money and then when we handed him the $ 200 he got a whole bunch tickets from his pocket and handed us our four. After a moment's doubt about the authenticity of the tickets we were later to cap an additional purchase minutes in the stadium. Tshaka! So it has yet worked out. An hour before the game we had a little time to explore the stadium to make the first images and find our seats. As it turned out, we were not quite as bad places. The game itself lasted all of four hours, during which we were sitting in the blazing midday sun. The purchase of the hats was worth it definitely. Thanks a lot for undue gave prices for drinks and food in between then only a small piece of pizza and a Coke. Charlotte Hostdad us then kindly invited back to the ice cream and after the said four hours, the Yankees won 10-8. Not bad.

We are then back to New Jersey, Alicia has allowed themselves to me in my pool a little cool. Then it was time for tea and a salad down to the Hudson. Sorry, I forgot, I sprayed with insecticides, so I am the next morning woke up with a lot of mosquito bites and, unfortunately, a spider bite on my hand. Quite the pain to this day have not disappeared, But it gets better. I clench my fist after all, while a small step forward.

Tuesday evening was again held a large cluster meeting. We met with our neighboring clusters in Ridgewood to an outdoor concert. It was a bit of Brazilian and Latin American music. Eating there was and so it was a very nice evening. Had only a few more people may be.

The Friday evening I spent with Wiebke in the cinema. We have been very angry, and have committed Movie hopping. We have only paid for "Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp (not a movie I would look at me again mandatory). Then it went veeery quietly again Loo and back, 3-D glasses from the boxes steal and pure in "Ice Age 3". In America you can do such things as easy as the cards are forward controls, even before we ever comes to the screens. Ice Age I was then very much.

ran the rest of the weekend will be a little different than planned. We had planned to grill beautiful Saturday on the Hudson below. Morning has Wiebke be quite brave to Alicia and I go to Kung Fu. There, I then received a text message that I still work in the morning instead of evening and as soon as possible to be home. Very nice. You can imagine my mood. So then I have worked to three clock, and then me Wiebke and Alicia picked up the picnic. After the meal we went back to the movies. A second time movie hopping. First it was in "My Sisters Keeper". A soooooo beautiful film. I think so much I cried when viewing a film before. Herrlich. Then "I love you Beth Cooper". Also a very sweet and funny movie. It has definitely been worthwhile.
The Mallparkplatz struck me on both days, a typical American phenomenon ... Americans let the windows of their cars very often open. On Friday, it itched me back in the finger to throw a piece of paper inside to make the owner of the car on it carefully. On Saturday we made it a reality. Whether the driver is probably first has been looking to whether what is missing? Well, who knows;)
And all weekend I had the feeling to be in Hamburg. Two times I saw one car, which also had the American flag still attached to an original hamburger plates. Very nice.

Sunday was rested. The only time this week and did it incredibly well. Then we went to Alicia, to the farewell gift to tinker for Jessi. We have added many pictures from the last year, a great poster. If we have it passed, it will probably include a picture of it. Before, we do not run the risk that she sees it by accident somehow. Wiebke had to then go home and Alicia and I are still in the Coauchhouse for dinner. There was pita to eat and watch football. At least for a while, was changed to the channel.

As you probably noted, I am here somehow hangel from weekend to weekend. During the week, just the sheer stress is announced, although the work is easier even in part, if the little one in the afternoon I can simply send in the pool and she has to watch it a little. Unfortunately this is not when Joey and Ali are also here, I have to employ three little monsters. But there are also only six weeks of work. I have to get over, and until then I enjoy my weekends but definitely great.
