Winter mood in St. Peter-Ording
Crystal clear air and minus 8 ° C on today's first Christmas Day. Many tourists that are spending a short break between Christmas and New Year's Eve in St. Peter-Ording already arrived and were pleased with the beautiful Christmas weather.

Running in the snow
Last night it snowed this morning a fresh blanket of snow was about 5 cm on the ground. During the last two weeks I was jogging regularly every 2-3 days. It is wonderful to walk in the snow. I noticed it, the snow, depending on weather conditions, are different sounds. Since yesterday it has become warmer, the air is damp, the snow is firm and maintains it generates the passage a very subdued tone. In the days before that it was freezing cold at night ruled temperatures down to minus 18 degrees Celsius and very dry. Accordingly, the snow was very powdery, almost like sugar. He grinds at each step. That's the sound that I associate with the winter. While jogging today, I met two people who have their Dog for a walk led. In Ukna it's not a matter of course to meet people. In the two weeks it was on to the streets the only meeting with local village. But perhaps there were also visitors like me. Who knows.
